About the Day
Our ceremony took place on Thursday, November 16, 2006. It was a hot, sunny day in in Punta Cana; we couldn't have asked for better weather! As Dawn had her hair and make-up, Clayton went for a sea-side run along the beautiful beaches. A decorated resort tram picked up both the groom and bride from their rooms and escorted them to the garden gazebo ceremony. Dawn looked absolutely stunning in her dress. With beaming smiles, Dawn's parents escorted her down the garden path. A Dominican official conducted the ceremony and the resort wedding coordinator, Francelia, translated the ceremony into English. The ceremony went off without a hitch...other than a little trouble getting Dawn's ring on. Not to worry though they reception will be a beach party located within the resort. It will include a dinner, our own DJ and bartender and some dancing in the sand! It will be a blast!
